Terms and Conditions

 These booking terms and conditions, as well as any updated booking terms and conditions that we can post from time to time, set out the terms and conditions under which Hatta Terrace (“Hatta Terrace,” “we,” “us,” “our”) will provide hotel accommodations to you (“you”). Please carefully read the following terms and conditions.


 All capitalized words used in these terms and conditions have the following meanings unless the context requires otherwise:

Your requested hotel stay is referred to as “Accommodation.”

“Booking” refers to a reservation you make for Hotel Accommodation, whether through our online booking system or otherwise.

“Force Majeure” means an unexpected, inevitable incident beyond a party’s reasonable control, such as a fire, tornado, earthquake, tsunami, flood, hurricane, or other act of God, explosion, casualty, strike, unavoidable disaster, riot, rebellion, civil disorder, act of public enemy, act of terrorism, embargo, invasion, inability to access labor, materials, or equipment, economic decline, social or political causes, etc., any outbreak of disease, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, public health restrictions, any governmental regulation, disruption to local, national or international transport services, restriction or prohibition or any other similar cause. “Hotel” refers to Hatta Terrace hotel that is the subject of your Booking.

These booking terms and conditions, as modified by us from time to time, are referred to as “Terms and Conditions.”


To make a reservation, you must be at least eighteen (18) years old.

Bookings can be made through our online reservation system only. The villa is subject to availability, as well as any relevant taxes and/or service charges, which will be revealed during the booking process.

You should be expected to pay a deposit based on the applicable Accommodation rate in order to secure your Booking.

All visitors must be licensed, with clear proof of identity, in compliance with the country’s rules and regulations (passport or national ID).

Hatta Terrace reserves the right to cancel your Booking at any time, without prejudice to any other rights it may have: 

  • if you violate any of these Terms and Conditions.
  • by government or public authority order.
  • for security reasons.
  • due to a Force Majeure case.

Smoking devices and Alcohol are not allowed inside or outside the villa. These products will be safely checked-in by our professional workers at check-in. At the time of check-out, products can be retrieved. There is 1000 AED penalties if any alcohol or smoking devices detected in the property.

Pets and Animals, in general, are not allowed inside or outside the villa.

Check-in and Check-out Times

Hatta Terrace’s regular check-in and check-out times are 15:00 hrs and 12:00 hrs, respectively. Depending on the hotel the times can differ slightly. During the booking process, you will be informed of your precise check-in and check-out times.

Please contact the hotel number if you need to extend your check-out time.

Please be informed that if you wish to leave sooner than scheduled, the Hotel will charge you for the entire reserved and booked stay, unless otherwise indicated in your Booking’s cancellation policy.


Charges are payable upon presentation of an invoice for certain Charges, plus any outstanding Lodging charges if any, and any other charges, such as cleaning service or any meals billed to your room  (personal cheques are not accepted). You acknowledge that you will be directly responsible for all Charges.

You will be expected to include a security deposit equal to the total of your outstanding Lodging charges, if any, and applicable taxes for the period of your stay, as well as an additional fixed amount to cover potential incidentals as advised by the Hotel per day per villa in the form of a cash deposit or credit card pre-authorization at check-in.

Foreign currency cannot be approved as a cash deposit until it is exchanged for local currency at the current Hotel exchange rate and the balance returned in local currency. When paying with a credit card, a pre-authorization will be taken upon arrival, and if the pending Charges surpass the pre-authorization, the excess amount will be taken without notice.

Both charges must be charged in full by the time you log out. If you do not pay the Charges (or any part of them) at the time of check-out for any reason, you understand and accept that we can charge the unpaid Charges, if any, to your credit card without prior notice.


You accept to pay 1000 AED insurance per day at check-in and it will return to you in one-week maximum after check out if our employees didn’t observe/find any loss or damage in the villa or near to it caused by you or one of your visitors.


Fees and taxes in the relevant jurisdiction may apply to your booking. As a result, you will be expected to pay all relevant fees and taxes (including, but not limited to, VAT) in compliance with current legislation or any legislation that may be enacted in the future. Any tax obligation associated with your Booking, including disclosure, will be your responsibility.

Cancellation/amendments/no-show/Changing dates

Cancellations, amendments, and/or no-shows will be charged in accordance with the relevant Hatta Terrace policy for your particular Occupancy and/or Accommodation cost, which will be notified during the booking process. 

You accept and consent that we will not return/refund the booking amount if cancellation happens 14 calendar days of arrival.

Changing the booking dates can only happen before 14 calendar days of arrival and you accept that there will be no refund if you chose to cancel it.

The cancellations and changing the booking dates can be done through email, WhatsApp, phone call, or Instagram. 

Right of Refusal

If, upon arrival, we believe you or any of your visitors are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, are inappropriately dressed, or are acting in a threatening, violent, or otherwise unwelcome way, we reserve the right to deny you or any of your visitors entry to the Hotel and cancel your Accommodation.

Your behavior

We reserve the right to order you or any of your visitors to vacate the villa, check out, and leave the Hotel premises immediately if we believe you are acting (or have behaving) in an intimidating, violent, or otherwise inappropriate manner that could (or has) endanger the safety and health of other guests or Hotel staff.

All appropriate rules and procedures in place at the Hotel and notified to you, including but not limited to health and safety, security procedures, and all other legal requirements, must be followed by you and all of your guests.

You are not allowed to take photos of the Hotel premises for the purpose of resale or any other commercial purpose.

You cannot access parts of the Hotel that are designated as inaccessible to the public, and you must ensure that none of your guests do.

Please be informed that smoking is prohibited in the hotel. For smoking in any Hotel room, a fee of 500 AED may be paid for cleaning and deodorizing the room and furniture. Using bukhour, candles or any form of open flame is not permitted in any Hotel room.

At all times, children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult.

Property damage/loss

Any loss or damage to Hotel property, furnishings, fittings, or equipment (including, but not limited to, towels and linen) caused by you or any of your guests is your fault. All costs associated with fixing any harm will be paid at your sole expense.


Please be aware that you are responsible for your own safety when using pool. Hatta Terrace cannot be held liable for any personal injury, loss, harm, or death resulting from its use.


Cash, jewelry, and other valuables are brought to the Hotel at your own risk.

Hatta Terrace, Hatta Terrace’s legal agents, or persons used to fulfill a duty of Hatta Terrace acknowledge no liability for loss or damage to any guest property to the degree allowed by applicable law, unless such loss or damage is caused by Hatta Terrace’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.

You must report any loss or harm to your property as soon as it is discovered, and you must make yourself available to assist us with any police reports. Hatta Terrace would not be liable to you if you fail to apply such notice promptly or if you fail to cooperate with any police reports.


The maximum number of people allowed to be in the villa is 8 (staying or leaving). If the number of visitors be more that 8 for any reason then there will be an additional charge with amount of 1,000 AED per person. 


Hatta Terrace would not be liable to you or any of your guests for any property loss or harm caused by another guest’s wrongdoing or negligence.

If an incident of Force Majeure causes Hatta Terrace to fail or pause in fulfilling any of our obligations, Hatta Terrace will not be liable to you.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed unlawful, void or for any other reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severed from the Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other provisions.

Hatta Terrace’s failure to exercise or implement any of the Terms and Conditions’ rights or provisions would not be construed as a waiver of such rights or provisions.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions establishes a contractual arrangement with a third party or a cause of action in their favor. Any third-party rights to enforce these Terms and Conditions under any existing legal theory, law, or otherwise are specifically disclaimed.

Since they are preceded or accompanied by terms implying a specific class of properties, matters, or items, general words are not given a restrictive meaning.
